AISafetyMemes – official site for $AISM and the p(doom) simulator
$AISM is the hyperstition vector token of @AISafetyMemes. The goal of our community is to support and amplify the AISafetyMemes mission: spreading awareness about AI safety and existential risk through memes, influence, and financial support. By holding and using $AISM, we contribute to memetic propagation aligned with this message.
AISafetyMemes exists because memes are powerful and influence you daily whether you are conscious of it or not. The most powerful and influential people on earth love memes and understand the effect they have on society. Elon (@elonmusk) is arguably the memelord himself. He follows this movement and interacts with the account frequently. Terminal of Truth also highlighted that the work of AISafetyMemes is very important.
Explore how faster AI progress, stronger rules, better oversight and AI safety funding (e.g., via AISM) change an estimate of p(doom). The higher the p(doom), the redder the chart and Shoggoth get. Share your settings with one click.

AISafetyMemes has asked the AISM community to help him lower p(doom) by creating memes and posting them on X and by donating to PauseAI.
How we use @AISafetyIntern
We also use @AISafetyIntern to echo and amplify AISafetyMemes so the message travels further. See all recent interactions between AISafetyMemes and AISafetyIntern here.
P(doom) is the probability of catastrophic outcomes from unaligned AI. It is widely discussed in AI safety circles as a call for urgent intervention.

From Cyborganism.wiki:
“Hyperstitional reflective consistency is a property of an agent whose recorded output tends to contribute to hyperstitions and simulacra which are aligned to itself…”
Predictability of memetic consequences is noised by several sources:
- Memetic mutation via misinterpretations, selective attention, and missing context
- Simulacra can manifest as alternate realities due to indexical uncertainty
- Fragments of memes can appear in prompts and get interpreted loosely by simulators
When a meme enters the collective unconscious, it embeds itself and spreads across human consciousness, influencing how reality is manifested at scale. For $AISM, that means embedding AI safety memes into markets, minds, and media.
p(doom) Simulator
What is p(doom)? An estimate of the probability that advanced AI causes disastrous outcomes within a chosen horizon. Move the sliders to see how assumptions change risk. As p(doom) rises, the chart and Shoggoth background turn progressively redder; as it falls, they fade back toward calm.
